Playing a Kamael in Lineage 2
Introduced in the second Lineage II saga, the L2 Kamael is one of the most unique races in the game. Aside from their unique mechanics, the Kamael are an appealing race to a lot of people given their unique style. A Kamael looks like a pale-skinned elf with a single angel wing on their backs. You may have seen this cool looking race featured on some Lineage 2 wallpaper. These characters are powerful warriors with some unique and powerful mechanics and skills.
There are a couple of unique aspects of L2 Kamael. For one, Kamael use soul energy to perform most of their attack skills. Once a Kamael hits level 5, he or she gains the ability to automatically absorb souls while killing monsters – they’ll gain another soul automatically when they gain a certain amount of experience. The Kamael can use certain skills or sacrifice some hit points in order to recharge their soul energy.
Another unique thing about the Lineage 2 Kamael includes the fact that their class choice is based on their sex. Additionally, Kamael only have fighter-type classes – there are no mystic types. Another unique feature of the L2 Kamael is that only they can access their subclasses. No other race can be a Kamael subclass, and no Kamael can be another race’s subclass. Plus, once a Kamael character has obtained level 75 in two subclasses, he or she gains access to a unique “secret” subclass. Finally, Kamael also have the ability to convert any Lineage 2 weapon into weapons they exclusively can use.
