L2 Kamael, Lineage 2 Kamael

If you’re a fan of Lineage 2, you may have been excited to hear about the new race, the Lineage 2 Kameal. When you play this new race, you will start out on the Isle of Souls. This is located near the west of the Dark Elven Village.

L2 Kameal are a dark-attributed race. Since they have a dark nature, healing magic is less effective on them. They need souls to use their attack skills and after level 5 they are able to gain souls from hunting automatically. They can also sacrifice some of their own health points to recharge their souls for attacks.

Collected souls for the Lineage 2 Kameal will be shown on the buff/de-buff status bar. They can last for 10 minutes from the last time a soul was absorbed. L2 Kameal cannot sub any other race’s classes, however, and no other races can sub Kameal either.

There are some really interesting things about the Kameal you should know. Once you reach level 75 on your first and second subclasses you will unlock one of two hidden subclasses, the Inspector and Judicator.

The L2 Kameal are also capable of turning certain weapons into Kamael-exclusive weapons using their own unique weapon conversion skill. These weapons include the Ancient Sword, Rapier and Crossbow. Not all weapons can be converted, however. Also, the skill that allows the weapon conversion is available after the first class transfer.

A Lineage 2 Kameal weapon can be converted back to its original form as long as it has not been augmented in any way. The weapon will still maintain all of its special abilities, enchant values and other attributes.
